Oryginalny opis ze Steam
Can you decipher the time of death through insects?
Welcome to Maggot Detective: Forensic Entomology Simulator, a simulation game that blends hardcore forensic entomology with a soothing, pixel-art aesthetic. Here, you aren’t facing gory crime scenes; instead, you are meticulously piecing together a timeline of the crime through the insect samples.
Core Gameplay: Detective Work in a Micro World
Insect Identification: Use the game's built-in Insect Encyclopedia to identify the species and developmental stage of your specimens.
Calculating Time of Death: This is your most critical task. Master the core formulas of forensic entomology, integrating developmental data with key environmental factors to calculate the "Minimum Post-Mortem Interval".
Game Features
Unique Aesthetic Contrast: There is no graphic of dead body or any graphics that make people feel uncomfortable. The entire game is drawn in charming pixel art. Even the most intimidating insects look kinda cute.
Hardcore Simulation: A deep dive into authentic insect developmental mechanisms that will challenge your observation skills and logical reasoning.
You can even romance the cute girl who guides you through the game.
More Than Just a Game
Maggot Detective aims to bring you into this highly specialized and little-known field by simulating real-world forensic science, prompting you to reflect on the nature of both death and life.
