Daybots is a co-op colony builder and tower defense game: grow a colony, automate its industry, and hold out against solar-powered robots that freeze when night falls. Command from above or step into any colonist in first person, solo or with up to three friends.
Original Steam description
Daybots is a cooperative tower defense game with automation. A group of colonists lands on an unknown planet, names it, and starts building. The early days are peaceful. Then the robots wake up: they attack by day, run on sunlight, and freeze at night, when your engineers can take them apart for parts.
You run the colony from above, and you can take over any colonist in first person at any time. Every colonist can do every job. They get better at what they do, their clothes change color to show it, and the good ones earn names. Up to four players, online or split-screen.
It's optimized for keyboard and mouse, or controller, with couch co-op or online multiplayer through Steam.
There's an in-game feedback key to send the developers issues to take care of.
