About the game
Heckle, hide & hope you don't get caught. Who Heckled? is a 2-8 player online social deduction party game set in a comedy club. Sit among the crowd, heckle whoever's performing on stage with iconic memes, then blend back in. Get spotted and you're out. Grab your friends and figure out Who Heckled?
Original Steam description
Everyone gets a turn on stage at a comedy club. The lights are blinding, the audience is watching, and all you have to do is finish a few simple tasks. Unfortunately, your friends are in the crowd, and whatever you do to them during their set, expect it back on yours.
Heckle them with iconic memes and throw whatever you can get your hands on to slow down their tasks and ruin their set. Time it right and a simple task turns into a nightmare. Heckling more and sitting closer to the stage gives you a better shot at coming out on top, but all that noise makes you a lot easier to spot.
Everyone around you looks just as ordinary as you do, and plenty of them heckle too, so the trick is to pass as one more face in the audience. Swap seats when things get hot, act natural, and let the performer try to work out who's real. The other hecklers aren't on your side either, and they'll happily make your night harder if it helps them win.
Meanwhile the performer is rushing around the club against the clock, and at any moment they can stop and call someone out. If they pick you, you're thrown out of the show for the rest of the round, but if they pick an innocent audience member by mistake, it costs them.
