About the game
Description d’origine sur Steam
The island has opened a file on you
ONE (1) WORLD is a single-player, top-down pixel sandbox RPG. You wash up on an island the Bureau audits, taxes and occasionally attacks. Make it home anyway.
What you actually do
Build rooms, roofs, furniture and storage, and grow a shelter into a working homestead.
Gather and craft: mine, chop, farm, fish any fresh water (no rod needed) and ranch, and craft straight from the chests around you.
Fight in real time: melee swings, a sling, a bow with fire, frost and venom arrows, throwable flasks, plus dodge, parry and lock-on.
Beat 15 bosses with readable tells across a six-act story.
Go further: travel by boat, car and train, then launch a rocket to the Moon and beyond.
Grow your way
60+ skills, creatures to befriend, islanders to help, and seasons with calendar events like Filing Night, Harvest Moon and Tax Day. Every region has its own day and night music, and the big bosses have their own themes.
Saving and options
Autosaves every 75 seconds, plus manual saves and multiple save slots.
Save anywhere, any time. Or switch on Creative mode: free building, no threats.
Three difficulty modes: on Lenient you keep everything when you fall; Strict hits back.
Keyboard and mouse or full controller support, with remappable controls.
Text scaling, color-vision modes, dialogue speed, screen shake and Reduce Motion settings.
Non-graphic pixel-art combat with no blood or gore.
Play in 10 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Polish.
The Bureau considers this an orderly development. The island has declined to comment.
