Soap Soup Tycoon looks like a picture book and runs on a real business sim. Get sloppy with your money, and the bank comes knocking.

Build your place

Put up walls, fit out the kitchen and dining room, don't forget the toilet (your guests will remind you) and put together your menu. Every cuisine brings its own dishes, plus your own creations and one signature dish people know you for. Later on, branch managers take over new locations and hire their own teams.

A town that doesn't wait for you

In Kesselbach every guest has a real home, a job and a daily routine. The lunch crowd walks over from work. People from further away get into their own car with its own number plate and hunt for a space in the car park. If they can't find one, you'll read about it in their review. Your suppliers are real farms and businesses that compete with each other and can go bust. And the competition around the corner is cooking too, with real orders and real reviews.

Books that don't lie

Market prices move, stock goes off, and every number on your daily report comes from something that actually happened. Need money? You can take out a loan as long as your credit holds up. Slip into the red and the bank steps in with an expensive rescue loan. Sink deep into the red again before it's paid off, and it's over. Spreadsheet nerds, welcome home.

A crew that's more than staff

Everyone on your team has their quirks, their friends and their arch enemies in the kitchen. Plan shifts, watch the overtime, and sit down with people when they want to quit. Keep the kitchen clean, because the health inspector doesn't call ahead and, at worst, shuts you down for a day.

People who remember you

Regulars come back for their favourite dish, bring their friends along and tell you about their lives. When one of them stops showing up, you notice. Every morning the City Herald hits the doorsteps, people post about you on Foodogram, and one day the critic from the Gourmet Gazette is sitting at one of your tables without warning.

Hangry wants its cut

The delivery app brings you orders and takes a commission on every one. Run ad campaigns, design your packaging and decide how much you want to depend on the platform.

And at night, the copper pot

For decades Grandma cooked her famous soap soup in that pot. She didn't leave you the recipe, only an old page with a gap in it. After closing time the night kitchen opens, and chapter by chapter the page keeps writing itself. It never lies. You just read it wrong the first time.
