About the game
A short first-person psychological horror game where a voice gives you daily instructions — watch television, take your medicine, tidy up. The more faithfully you obey, the more your apartment decays into something wrong.
Original Steam description
You live alone. Every morning, a voice tells you what to do.
Watch television. Take your medicine. Answer the phone when it rings. Tidy the kitchen before bed. Simple instructions for a simple life in a small apartment. You know the routine by now.
But routines have weight. Every task you complete the way you're told to costs you something you can't quite name. The paintings on the walls look different when you aren't staring at them. The objects in the rooms shift. The things you thought were familiar begin to feel wrong.
HOLLOW LIFE is a first-person psychological horror game set entirely within a single apartment. You explore each room, interact with the world around you, and complete the tasks you are given...but every task has two possible solutions. There is the expected answer, and there is the one you have to find for yourself.
The choices you make determine how much your environment changes. Comply with everything the voice asks, and the apartment will degrade around you across multiple stages of increasing corruption. Resist...quietly, and something else becomes possible.
There are no jump scares. No monsters. The horror in HOLLOW LIFE is slower and more personal than that.
Features
First-person exploration of a single lived-in apartment
Dual-path task system — every task has a surface solution and a hidden one
Four-stage environmental degradation that responds to your choices
Original VO
A slow-burn psychological horror experience built around grief. compliance, and resistance.
