Dodgeball Rush

The whistle blows. Balls hit the floor, both teams sprint for them, and a packed arena is already on its feet. You grab one, charge it up and let it fly at the nearest chest. Then they catch it, and now it's coming back at you.

Dodgeball Rush is fast third-person arcade dodgeball with a sports-broadcast feel. Every throw is a decision, every catch can flip the match, and the last player standing gets the spotlight.

There's a story mode too. Your team, the Rookies, is one player short, so you come down from the stands and take on the fifteen crews of the Hit List.

• Charge it: hold for a harder, faster throw. Hold it too long and you fumble it.

• Pick your shot: sprint into a Running Throw, plant your feet for a Heavy Pitch, or lob it over the front line.

• Catch it: time it right and their best shot becomes yours. Nail a perfect catch and send back a Payback throw before they recover.

• Earn signatures: beat a crew to take one of its signature throws, then switch between them mid-match.

• Move like you mean it: sprint, jump, crouch and dodge. Then taunt, because you earned it.

Every crew plays differently: aggressive teams push up and throw fast, defensive teams hang back and catch more, and bots coordinate crossfires and staggered attacks.

• RUSH: fast elimination. A hit puts a player out, a catch brings a teammate back, and balls drop from the sky mid-match.

• PRO: real dodgeball. Balls start in lanes behind the line, and a catch puts the thrower out and brings a teammate back.

• POINT RUSH: a points match on the clock. A hit knocks a player down instead of out, and a shot clock keeps everyone throwing.

• KVADRATAS: the Lithuanian schoolyard game. One ball, attacks from both ends: get hit and you move behind the enemy square, where you keep throwing. Empty their square to win.

• Quick Play and Tournament: pick any two teams and go, or take eight teams through single elimination for one trophy.

• Local co-op and versus: up to four players on split screen, on the same team or against each other, from 1v1 up to 6v6. Steam Remote Play Together supported.

• Create your own: build your own players and teams.

The Hit List is the story mode. The Rookies are one player short, and you're the new player who came down from the stands to fill the spot. Fifteen crews run the city's courts, and they rank each other on the Hit List. You start at #15 and work your way up, one crew at a time.

• Away games: every match is on the rival's home court, in front of their crowd.

• Rivals talk trash: each crew lets you know what it thinks of the new kid before the whistle.

• Bring a friend: the whole Hit List can be played in local co-op.

The crowd reacts to every hit and an announcer calls the action. In the last 30 seconds, extra balls drop onto the court. The last player left on a team gets more time to catch. Tied at the buzzer? Sudden death.
