About the game

A magician wakes with no memory of the woman he loved... or how she died. Explore a circus that rearranges itself behind you, evade the witness in the rafters, and uncover what really happened during "The Final Show." An atmospheric first-person psychological horror game.

Original Steam description

"Tragic Illusion: Dancer Clara Dead After On Stage Stabbing During Live Performance. The head magician, Albert, remains hospitalized with severe head trauma. Questions remain about what happened during the troupe's final show..."

You are Albert. You don't remember who that is.

You don't remember the woman in the photograph even though someone has scratched out her eyes with a pin. You don't remember the circus, the stage, or why your hands won't stop shaking. But when you close your eyes, you see a knife, and you feel something worse than guilt.

You feel relief.

Wander corridors that stretch and loop the moment you look away. The rooms behind you are not the rooms you left. Pick up old photographs, torn letters, and ruined props turn them over in your hands, inspect every angle, every scribbled note. The answer to what happened during "The Final Show" is here, buried in the debris of a mind that won't remember. Or can't. Or won't let itself.

You are not alone

Someone is watching from the rafters. He saw what you did, and he hasn't forgiven you.

Walk softly. The floor is littered with traps. Step on the wrong thing and every sound you make becomes a beacon.

Breathe quietly. Run too long and your gasps will betray you before your footsteps do.

Don't look up. When the sandbag falls, you won't hear it coming.

Under the fear, there was a life here

A person. A song. The way two people were together. This is a psychological horror game about the worst thing love can become and the parts of it you can't outrun.

THE SHOW NEVER ENDED
