About the game

Pilot a vintage hot air balloon through a freezing, desolate void. Manage your burner, survive hostile creatures, and land at abandoned stations before the darkness consumes you.

Original Steam description

Altitude Zero is a short atmospheric and unsettling horror experience. Pilot an old hot air balloon through a desolate land with one objective: reach mysterious stations and shut them down to stop something that was never meant to awaken.

During this journey, you will have to keep control of your hot air balloon as freezing winds and hostile creatures try to bring you down, with the burner's flame as your only relief against the darkness.

Main Features

  • Flight Management: Monitor fuel and altitude, and keep your hot air balloon in optimal condition.

  • Hostile Weather: Powerful and unpredictable winds capable of severely damaging your vehicle.

  • Unknown Threats: Strange and aggressive life forms will threaten your safety along the way.

  • A Retro Horror Atmosphere: A low-poly aesthetic that enhances the dread of a desolate and alien world.

  • On the Ground: Land carefully, complete your task, and take off again as soon as possible.

Story

A mysterious anomaly appeared deep within a lake. A scientific expedition built several stations to drain it and discover what lay beneath... the expedition never returned.

Something ancient, buried deep beneath the Earth, has awakened, and its influence has slowly begun to spread, turning the world into a hostile and desolate place.

Now the only hope is to reach the abandoned stations aboard an old service hot air balloon and shut them down, praying that this ancient presence returns to oblivion.
