The cherry blossoms will return. Your year in Koyori won't.
At seventeen, you leave Bangkok for Koyori High School in rural Nagano as a Thai exchange student. You expect to struggle with Japanese, stumble through awkward introductions, and spend a long year away from home. You don't expect nights beneath a rooftop telescope, stories written for one reader, a kendo captain whose samurai bravado hides everything she cannot say, a photographer who files every memory except her own, or a girl with a hand-drawn map who always knows the way—except to you. From the first spring bloom to the final snow, club days, festivals, shared meals, and cultural mix-ups turn strangers into the people who make Koyori feel like home. Grow closer to Yuki, Aoba, Hana, Mizuno, or Shiori—but choose with care. Every exchange year has a last day, and when it comes you will have to decide: take the train home, or stay for one more spring.
Five girls. Five ways of hiding what they cannot say aloud.
- Yuki — The shy astronomy-club girl who can chart almost every star above Koyori, but cannot name the feeling that keeps drawing her back to the rooftop.
- Aoba — The quiet writer of the literature club. She cuts every unnecessary word from her sentences—including the one she most wants to say. To know her, you will have to read between the lines.
- Hana — Koyori's bright, fearless kendo captain, full of confidence and samurai speeches. The hardest armor to get past is not the kind she wears for practice.
- Mizuno — The photography club's heart, with a camera around her neck and the whole school in her contacts. She is the first to notice when you are homesick and the last to put herself in the frame.
- Shiori — Your host family's niece, met on a Golden Week trip with a paper map folded thick with blue arrows. She can find any exit in Tokyo; what she cannot chart is where she wants to stand next to you. The next spring, she transfers into your class.
Make the year your own
- A full school year—then the choice to stay for another — 34 main-story chapters from spring to spring, followed by one heroine's 10-part route and her side stories told from her own point of view.
- 5 romances, 20 endings — astronomy, literature, kendo, photography, or the girl who arrives with the second spring. Each route can end in a True, Good, Normal, or Bad End—and the train home is always an ending of its own.
- Life between Thailand and Japan — host-family life, food, language, clubs, and school festivals matter as much as romance.
- 156 illustrated memories and 11 achievements — fill the Memory Album, revisit key moments, and pursue completion.
- 8 languages — Thai, English, Japanese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Russian, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese.
At the end of the school year, the train home will arrive. Until then, make every season count.
