Dead Rose è un'avventura dinamica 2D con visuale dall'alto e grafica pixel art, che fonde l'esplorazione di un Metroidvania con l'avventura epica di un titolo alla Zelda, in un mondo al tempo stesso tetro e magico. Ogni elemento è realizzato a mano, con amore e passione. Una storia ispirata a quella di mio padre, al quale rendo omaggio.

Dead Rose is a 2D top-down action-adventure in pixel art, blending the exploration of a Metroidvania with the epic adventure of a Zelda-like, in a world that is both gloomy and magical. Everything is handmade, with love and passion.
Forget cozy games, cluttered interfaces and endless cutscenes: here, you play, you explore, and every new ability changes the way you play. The story is inspired by the life of my father, whom I honor by making this project.
Play as Lucky, a tormented soul who wakes up in an isolated graveyard, facing his own grave. Lost in the spirit world, he has only one goal: to find Rose, the love of his life, and unravel the mystery of the ritual that brought him here. Many dangers will test you and force you to grow ever stronger. Unexpected encounters and closely guarded secrets await you, if you can still tell good from evil.

Save roses are your only respite, and your only way to save your progress
Unlock abilities to reach new areas
Collect gold to trade with merchants for powerful items
Fight your way to the one who dragged you here. But beware: you may not like the truth...
A Personal Tribute
Dead Rose was born from a true story.
My father, Luc, was bipolar. In 2022, after years of hardship, he took his own life.
This game is my way of grieving, and of paying tribute to him through a medium I love: video games, which can approach death with poetry and lightness, without ever trivializing it.
