From a flourish land, something demonic appeared.
You are the Altar, a BLOOD CRYSTAL.
Sweep your Reaper's Ring through a living, squirming field of critters and fulfil your never ending HUNGER!
KEEP FEEDING:
Critters are offerings, not enemies.
They wander around until you poke them with the reaper's ring. Kill them to gain Blood Orbs which fly to you. Blood Crystal levels up, heals, and calls for more. The hunger never stops!
HUNGER IS THE CLOCK:
Every second, it ticks down. Leveling up with Orb gives you more time. But eventually the clock hits zero, or your fragile demonic crystal breaks.
Either way, everything you've collected becomes your reward.
DESCEND:
Kill enough and the world darkens toward HELL. four phases, new critter trios, harsher ground. One verb. One arena. No build layer. Reap.
Reap. Feed. Upgrade. Repeat.
