Xmas Squad

Santa went out and never came back. The cookies ran out. So the base fired up the cloning pods: a little Santa DNA, a little of yours, and presto — a replacement. His beard, your personality. What could possibly go wrong?

Xmas Squad is a co-op comedy for up to four players. Fly a shared sleigh, deliver presents house to house and steal the milk and cookies. Try to make it back to Santa's Village before the urge to hit just one more house gets the whole team killed.

DELIVER THE PRESENTS

Presents don't put themselves under the tree. Load them onto a sled, haul them across the yards and find a way inside. The chimney works — just hope the fire isn't lit.

Or smash through a window or door with a present. Sure, breaking glass wakes the neighbors, those neighbors wake the next ones, the noise draws monsters, the monsters start wrecking everything, you start rushing, something accidentally catches fire — fun chain reactions all around. Whatever happens, drop off the presents, grab the milk and cookies and drag it all back to the sleigh. Don't overthink it.

EXPLORE AN ENDLESS WORLD

Grab the reins and pick a direction. The world is procedurally generated, so there are always new villages, streets and houses up ahead.

You decide where to land and which houses to hit. Park the sleigh in a yard or right on the roof. While one Santa finds a way to the tree, the others can unload presents and clean out the house next door.

HOLIDAY CHAOS

Santa can climb walls and rooftops, but he can also end up in Krampus's sack. Windows shatter, doors fly off their hinges and furniture goes everywhere. Your friends might save you at the last second — or knock you out cold.

Most villagers are thrilled to see Santa: they wave, jump around and film you on their phones. Monsters give you a very different welcome. And there are plenty of monsters. Even a Norse god snuck into the lore.

Fight back with candy cane clubs, lob candy grenades and plant reindeer dung mines.

Once you hit your delivery quota, the string lights start going out. The longer you stick around, the more dangerous the night gets: villagers make off with the presents you delivered, a blizzard rolls in, and when the second-to-last bulb dies, He rises from the snow. He's big.

If even one Santa makes it back, the team keeps the loot. If nobody does, everything you stole that night is gone.
