About the game
A 2D creative sandbox where every tile is a tiny machine. Inspired by Redstone, LEGO, and Tabletop Simulator. Create and play solo or with friends.
Original Steam description
ONE RULE SET - INFINITE POSSIBILITIES
TILEZ — A Creative Logic Sandbox
Paint tiles onto an unlimited grid and build anything you can imagine.
Every tile is a tiny machine. Tiles generate and share power, send signals, and tell other tiles what to do. Customize their size and appearance with images, visual effects, and sounds.
Tiles can store information, check conditions, make decisions, and react to the world around them. They can push, pull, grab, move other tiles - and even control the camera.
Every tile follows the same rules. Combine them to create complex machines, puzzles, games, factories, animations, interactive tutorials, working computers, or anything you can imagine!
NO CODING - JUST TILES - CAUSE AND EFFECT
GREAT FOR BOARDGAMES & TABLETOP EXPERIENCES
Create your own games. Tile Games. Dice Games. Card Games. Puzzle games. Arcade machines. Tabletop Campaigns. Recreate old favorites. Or finally turn that game idea you’ve had for years into something people can actually play.
DUNGEON MASTER MODE lets the host edit the players world as the simulation runs.
THERE IS NO FINISH LINE
TILEZ has DEMOS, TUTORIALS, and CHALLENGES and it's easy to share your own creations.
Easy to MOD - Upload your own images & sounds, create tutorials and more.
TILEZ gives you a system flexible enough to discover things even its creator never imagined.

ABOUT THE DEVELOPER
For the last ten years, home has been the back of my vehicle - living a minimalistic life and chasing nicer weather. I've played games my whole life: video games, board games, from Pong to Agricola.
As a homeschooling father of two, Minecraft Redstone became a staple of our curriculum. There's no better way to teach a circuit than letting someone build one, break it, and try again.
TILEZ started as an attempt to make that teaching tool even better. I kept adding features - more logic, more ways to see cause and effect. Eventually my little tiles grew into something entirely new so they can now, not only help us learn, but let us play too!
The say geeks make cool things in their garages - I made mine on four wheels.
Games have given me so much over the years.
TILEZ is my way of giving something back.
Another way to learn, create, and play together.
