About the Game

BUILD YOUR OUTPOST

Any place on the map where you feel safe can be your home. Build shelters, place chests, and surround them with walls. You decide the architecture; you choose the decor. This is entirely your story.

BUILD YOUR OWN COMMUNITY

Rescue the survivors, convince them, and bring them to your side. Each will join you with unique abilities as a Companion, Guardian, or Worker. Change their roles whenever you want; a Companion who heads out into the field with you today could become a Guardian defending your outpost tomorrow. Train them, strengthen them, and equip them. But be careful: if one of them dies, they won’t come back.

• Worker

The backbone of the Outpost. Labor, looting, farming, cooking, building. Entrust them with whatever work you need done.

• Guard

The last line of defense at your gate. Whether zombie hordes come or rival survivors attack, they’ll defend your outpost at the cost of their own lives.

• Companion

Your travel companion. With the right gear, they’ll go anywhere with you, fight shoulder to shoulder, gather loot, and return home.

Their roles aren’t set in stone. You can change them as your needs change. Do you want an extra pair of hands as a fighter today, or do you need more production at the outpost? The decision is entirely up to you.

Remember, every person you bring along is your responsibility. If their morale drops, they might rebel, abandon you, or even steal from your unlocked storage areas and run off.

RAIDS AND ZOMBIE HORDS

Rival factions may set their sights on looting your outpost, and zombies may swarm you in droves when they catch a whiff of human scent. The bigger you get, the greater the threat becomes. Never let your guard down.

If you want, you can go on the offensive too. Gather your team, raid rival outposts, and take over their settlements. In the world of Walkers, survival isn’t just about defense.

DYNAMIC WEATHER SYSTEM

When the rain comes down hard, indoor spaces can save your life; when snow blankets everything, a source of heat keeps you from freezing. As the weather changes, your strategy must change too.

SKILL TREE

Aggressive, Adventurous, Resilient. Chart your own path through a vast skill tree. Shape your character however you like and create your own playstyle.

CAMPAIGN AND SURVIVAL MODE

Two different experiences await you. In Campaign mode, death isn’t the end—you simply lose the items you’re carrying and respawn at your outpost, then continue where you left off. In Survival mode, however, death is final. Once you die, the world resets to zero.
