About the game

KRENDEL - is a strange point-and-click adventure without words or dialogue, where curiosity often leads to trouble. Explore, experiment, solve quirky puzzles, and tumble into absurd situations with a dose of dry humor. There’s definitely a story here. Probably.

Original Steam description

A STRANGE WORLD

KRENDEL is a peculiar haven for even more peculiar beings. They arrived here from different corners and, over time, built their own ports, workshops, and settlements. At first glance, everything seems entirely normal. Almost.

CURIOSITY AND TROUBLE

Krendel is an inquisitive wanderer with a habit of opening, touching, and tinkering with things that were better left alone. Explore the surroundings, interact with the locals, and see where it leads.

THE WORLD IS ONE BIG PUZZLE

In KRENDEL, puzzles aren't isolated minigames disconnected from the environment. Figure out how things tick, find what you need, and use your surroundings to clear the path forward. Sometimes the answer is nowhere near where you were looking.

ODD INHABITANTS

There are no typical villains here. Just stubborn workers, eccentric locals, and characters who aren't particularly thrilled about helping you on your way. Fortunately, Krendel rarely asks for permission.

SOMETHING IS OFF

The further Krendel wanders, the more questions arise. Why did everyone end up here? What lies beyond the horizon? And why does no one want to talk about it? Perhaps the answer waits right where you least expect it.

A WORDLESS ADVENTURE

KRENDEL tells its story without words or traditional dialogue—purely through animation, sound design, gestures, and the world itself. Explore. Experiment. Tumble into trouble. There’s definitely a story here. Probably.
