About the game

You are a scientist turned into test subject zero, forced to fight the infection by venturing through your own nightmares. Will you survive.

Original Steam description

SUBJECT ZERO

Subject Zero is a first-person psychological horror game combining hallucinations, virus, mutations, exploration, puzzles, and chases.

You wake up inside a mysterious laboratory after a leak involving XPT-120, an experimental virus capable of causing powerful hallucinations and mutations.

Your goal is simple: survive and find a way out.

But the further you go, the more your perception of reality begins to deteriorate.

EXPLORE A WORLD THAT CHANGES

Explore a secret laboratory, abandoned facilities, Backrooms, labyrinths, a strange hotel, and environments directly connected to the character's hallucinations and memories.

Each area offers a different atmosphere and situation: exploration, puzzles, chases, observation, or survival.

DON'T TRUST WHAT DO YOU SEE

XPT-120 gradually distorts your perception.

Rooms can change, environments can transform, and some apparitions may become impossible to distinguish from reality.

You will sometimes have to understand your surroundings in order to progress, while avoiding the creatures hunting you.
