Original Steam description
Where Control Ends
A psychological horror visual novel about memory, guilt, and the fear of what lies within.
Astra is used to keeping herself under control. A tidy home, carefully chosen words, ordinary plans for the day. But beneath that calm lie gaps in her memory, traces of blood, and questions she is afraid to answer.
The return of a childhood friend and an unexpected encounter disturb the fragile balance of her solitary life. Warmth, curiosity, and the desire for connection begin to return. At the same time, her past grows harder to ignore.
And the voice inside speaks as though it has always known what she wants.
About the Story
A parent’s concern can become suffocating. Closeness can feel more frightening than solitude. An ordinary conversation can bring back a memory better left forgotten.
Where Control Ends blends psychological and supernatural horror with family drama and romantic relationships. Warm, everyday moments gradually take on a different meaning as Astra begins to question her own memories and intentions.
She must decide whom to let close, what to leave unspoken, and how to act when her own thoughts become a threat.
