Impermanence
Coming soon
About the game
A father. A condemned theatre. A son’s voice from beyond. Step into a narrative horror game about grief, obsession, and refusing to let go as a force older than love pushes back.
Original Steam description
The Orpheum Theatre should have stayed abandoned.
Instead, you return night after night.
Carrying boxes of toys, photographs, trophies, drawings.
Fragments of a life.
You're not here to remember your son.
You're here to bring him back.
Rebuild what you remember.
Jumping off the bed.
Giggles coming from inside the closet.
Give him a place to come back to.
Find the frequency.
You turn up the volume.
Sweep the frequencies.
What was once fleeting can be captured.
Forced into structure.
And then—
you hear his voice.
But something is fighting back.
The theatre changes.
Objects shift.
Memories decay.
Your work is being undone.
Some things cannot be brought back.
But you promised you'd fix it.
So you keep going.
Further than you should.
Further than anyone should.
Impermanence is a first-person psychological horror experience about grief, obsession, and refusing to let go.
No weapons.
No monsters waiting in the dark.
Only the slow realization that the universe is trying to correct what you've done.
