Scan and Probe.

RMC R&D provides deep-surface scanners and excavation probes to recover minerals buried in planetary crusts. Survey the surface, find the hotspots, and select your extraction sites. You’ll be sent to planets unsuitable for life, but very suitable for their resources.

Charge and Mine.

Charge your probes, carve into the surface, and collect the released minerals aboard your extraction vessel. Probe allocation is limited per shift. Make each deployment count.

As your equipment improves and your scanner maps deeper, subsurface fault lines become visible. Target them with sufficient charge to collapse entire sections and recover the resources within. The Company calls this advanced extraction. You will know it when you see it.

Bigger equipment. Bigger returns.

Return your haul for payment, sign new contracts, and direct your earnings toward your rig. Improve mining power, carving radius, resource yield, scanning depth, and automated charging. Additional systems and equipment become available as you progress.

All operations are conducted through your terminal: readout displays, wireframe planetary models, and a standard CRT interface. The Company has determined this configuration adequate for the work required.

Introductory Training Program (Demo)

The separate demo covers Sol Outer Belt, Helios Reach, and Wolf 359, with a restricted upgrade catalog. The full game extends operations beyond these three systems and opens the wider upgrade catalog.

A keyboard and mouse are required to operate your terminal.
