The Sons of Earth

Aliens took over Earth. Now it's your turn to take it back.

The Sons of Earth is a turn-based strategy game on a hex map. You lead a band of human rebels with pickup trucks, mortars, rocket launchers and drones. They face the Verkhan: armored wolfmen with bigger guns, thicker armor and eyes everywhere.

You can't beat them head-on. So you hide, set ambushes, and strike where they aren't looking.

⬢ EASY TO PICK UP

Click a unit and point at a hex, and the game tells you what will happen before you commit: how much damage you'll do, who's likely to win, and whether they'll run. Hover over anything for an explanation.

⬢ SEE THEM FIRST

You only see what your units spot. Send scouts ahead, put drones in the sky, and hit the enemy before they know you're there.

⬢ CALL IN THE BIG GUNS

Once a turn, radio for an artillery barrage, an air strike, a smoke screen or a recon flight. Just keep your Command HQ alive. Lose it and you lose the battle.

⬢ QUICK BATTLES

Most battles take 6 to 8 turns. Pick your army, a map and a mission: capture a city, hold a hill, hunt down a VIP, or storm the alien citadel. There are 14 maps across farmland, snow, desert, marsh, coast and city, with blizzards, sandstorms and fog that change how you fight.

⬢ A CAMPAIGN THAT REMEMBERS

Choose a commander and fight your way across a sector map to the enemy stronghold. Your units carry their wounds from battle to battle, the best get promoted, and the fallen stay fallen. Win battles to earn rewards and pick upgrades.

⬢ PLAY IT YOUR WAY

Start with the simpler Streamlined rules. When you want more, switch to the Full rules for extra units, more drone missions and electronic warfare. There are four difficulty levels and four enemy commanders, each with their own style.

Detailed top-down battlefields where towns burn and smoke drifts across the river, set to an original synth soundtrack.

WHO IS IT FOR?

Anyone who enjoys turn-based strategy. You don't need wargame experience: the game shows you the odds and explains everything as you go.
