Between faith and superstition, between truth and myth, ancient legends come back to life in the shadows.
Step into the shoes of Lucio, a Vatican investigator tasked with examining cases that defy any rational explanation. Creatures from Italian folklore emerge from forgotten tales, leaving behind clues that are difficult to decipher.
Every investigation will lead you to explore richly detailed settings, gather testimonies, and piece together events through fragmented clues. The truth is never straightforward, and every detail can make the difference.
Investigation and Puzzles
Explore your surroundings, gather evidence, and reconstruct the facts by piecing together what has been seen, said… and hidden. Solve enigmas tied to the cases and let intuition guide you: every observation can bring you closer to the truth or lead you astray.
Strategic Turn-Based Combat
When investigation is not enough, confrontation remains. Face supernatural entities in turn-based combat using spells and special ammunition. Prepare for unpredictable encounters: each enemy follows its own rules and demands focus, timing, and strategy. Execute precise sequences and ancient rituals to overcome threats, rely on your skills, and think your moves through carefully.

Resources and Preparation
During your investigations, collect and use consumables to adapt to the most dangerous situations. Take a break, have a coffee, smoke a cigar, and gain temporary perks to face what lies ahead.
The line between faith and madness is thinner than anyone wants to believe.

And when that happens… you lose something. Your faith. Or yourself.
