Hell's Handbook

Welcome to Hell, or Household Entity Liquidation Liberation! We here at Hell are hard at work identifying and documenting the supernatural forces from beyond our world.

In this turn-based tactics puzzle game, you lead a team of contractor ghost busters through a series of haunted houses, each with a different set of unidentified monstrosities. Be it a ghost or be it a ghast, banishment is as easy as 1-2-3!

STEP 1: SURVIVE THE MONSTER

As you enter the house, you will be immediately attacked by the monster. Prepare yourself accordingly by equipping and positioning your units against their attacks. You can only take so many hits before you are knocked unconscious, so pace out your healing potions.

STEP 2: IDENTIFY THE MONSTER

Is it a vampire? Is it a werewolf? We won't know until we identify it! Carefully observe the monster, and note their movements, their attacks and their reactions. Cross-reference these notes with your handbook, and you'll identify the monster!

STEP 3: TRAP THE MONSTER

Once we know the monster, we know how to contain it!! Consult your handbook for the corresponding ritual circle. Draw out the ritual circle, adorning it with materials like salt and sulfur and silver. Then kite the monster into the center of the circle to trap it!

The game starts with 10 procedurally generated levels, for roughly 2 hours of gameplay.
