But have you ever wondered: what happens to the characters who never got to be your favorite? How do they feel during all that time you weren't there? When you next open the game, do you really think they'll greet you with a smile — just like your favorite always does?

LUNADUN: LUNATIC DUNGEON is a visual novel built around that very question. Your choices determine the fate of every character.

About This Game

3 Members, 5 Days

Only three can enter the dungeon. Each day, you choose which of your three companions — Garuo, Albie, and Megalis — to bring along, and which one to leave behind. That choice shapes everything that follows. Who do you bring with you? Who do you leave alone?

Affection System
Your words and actions shift how each character feels about you. But here's the catch: raising one person's affection always lowers another's. There is no path where everyone gets to be happy.

Going Lunatic
When affection drops too far, something inside a character begins to break — an irreversible change known as "going Lunatic." This isn't a bad ending. It's the ending your choices made.

Multiple Endings
Five days of decisions lead to a branching web of outcomes. And if the conditions align… you might just witness salvation and ruin arrive at the very same moment.

Characters

Garuo "Your Childhood Friend" / "The Childhood Friend Someone Wanted"

A hotheaded young man who charges headlong into a dangerous dungeon, driven by a single-minded desire to save a mutual friend. Beneath the surface, however, he is slowly consumed by the compulsion that he must never stop living up to everyone's expectations.

Albie "An Ordinary Investigator / An Investigator Who Could Never Be Special"

An earnest man who joins the party despite his doubts about the mission. Neglected by his father in childhood, he came to believe he has no worth of his own — and has held himself together ever since by making himself replaceable.

Megalis "A Wandering Monster" / "A Monster Who Survived Anyway"

A mysterious monster woman who leads a caravan. She has endured the harshest of conditions — stripped of dignity, armed with nothing but her wits. Even the tragedies she has suffered, she claims, are no one's fault but her own.

Mamakona "The Daughter of Fate"

A childhood friend waiting for you at the end of a long journey, at the very edge of the story. What meaning will her presence bring to all the choices and responsibilities you've accumulated along the way…?

Demo Version

• Prologue through Day 1 (in-game time). Approximately 15–20 minutes.

Early Access Version (Planned)

• Average play time per run: approximately 1.5 hours

• Under certain conditions, both the salvation and destruction endings can be unlocked in a single run.
