About the game
Description d’origine sur Steam
You’re a broke gladiator. Everything you fight with is locked inside a slot machine, and the arena expects you to show up anyway. Last the season and you walk out free.
Your items are your deck. At the start of each turn you spin the machine to see which ones are loaded. Your first reroll is free. After that it’s 1 gold, then 2, and the price keeps doubling, so at some point you take what you’ve got.
When you’re set, roll a d20 to see who moves first. The fight then plays out in the arena with whatever came up.
A run lasts 12 in-game weeks. You earn gold each week and from winning fights, and some items bring it in as well. Spend it at the Sanitarium to heal, or at the Merchant on new gear for the machine.
Your gear is your deck: 50+ items, and the slot machine decides which ones you get each turn.
Free once, then it doubles: The first reroll costs nothing. Every one after that costs twice the last.
Roll for initiative: A d20 decides who swings first, then the fight plays out on its own.
8+ bosses: Spread across a 12-week run.
Between bouts: Patch up at the Sanitarium and restock at the Merchant.
Made by one person: The first game from Laser Castle, a solo dev based in Taiwan.
Push-your-luck players: Every turn comes down to whether you spin again. The price doubles each time, so you need to know when to stop.
Slot machine roguelike fans: If you’ve lost hours to Luck be a Landlord, this one puts the machine in charge of a fight.
