About the game
You crashed on Garb'aaj, a planet made of trash, and you owe money for the ship. Scavenge, swap your body parts one finger at a time, fight drones built from garbage, and recycle the whole planet into a real one. Solo or co-op.
Original Steam description
The planet is garbage. So are you, on paper.
You're a debt-ridden cyborg. Your employer's HQ, Earth, is gone, and your ship crashed on Garb'aaj, a planet that formed on its own out of trash, like the Pacific garbage patch. A company owns it. The drones that "process" the trash never actually do anything with it. It just vanishes. And the colonies keep dumping more.
Your debt is still due.
Swap your body, one finger at a time
Every finger, toe, eye, ear and joint is its own slot. Lose an arm in a fight, dig a replacement out of the pile, and bolt it on in the field. Or don't. A chrome arm hits harder, but chrome drinks battery, and you can never go fully chrome: your head and torso stay meat.
- Limb weapons only, in full Inspector Gadget style. A finger gun fires a real bullet from your fingertip.
- Install and remove parts on yourself or a teammate, with a small chance of a funny mishap.
- Parts wear and jam. Repair kits fix them.
- Die and you wake at the med-pod with no limbs at all. Start crawling.
Dig, drive, haul
- Hold E to dig trash piles. Your hands set the speed, and claws, shovel hands and buzzsaws make it faster.
- Drive an excavator and dig the ground for real. The ground is solid, cutting resists, and the bucket fills by the volume your teeth actually cut. Bring a friend for the two-seat version and a bigger scoop.
- Haul raw trash to the Sorter, then recycle it, burn it for fuel, or build something from it.
- No conveyors. Every machine is fed by hand.
Recycle the planet
Feed the trash into the Planet Works and build a real planet, layer by layer: core, mantle, crust, atmosphere. Each finished layer unlocks the next machines, and the sky slowly clears.
The company would like a word
Company drones are made of trash and raid anything left lying around. Wreck the Salvantula, the company's walking processing plant, and its Weavers hunt you down. Hurt it after the Core is done, and it calls a swarm of Effluvium Wasps.
Co-op, with friendly fire
Play solo, host for friends, or run a dedicated server. Up to 4 players by default. You can wear anyone's parts, and you can shoot a teammate's finger off. Friendly fire is on by default, and servers can turn it off.
