James si sveglia una mattina e scopre che il suo corpo fisico è scomparso. Peggio ancora, nessuno sembra accorgersi della sua sparizione. Dopo aver vagato senza essere visto per mesi nella San Francisco del 1993, finisce per scoprire cosa deve fare per riavere il proprio corpo e vivere una vita che valga la pena conoscere.

I'm not sure how it happened. I woke up on a morning like any other.
I didn't die, didn't get into an accident and float out of a wreck. One morning I woke up, and my body was gone. I was out of body, and that was it.

I always thought I'd get married and have kids someday. Family man, just like the folks wanted (just like my brother). I guess "someday" never really became "today" - it always felt a few more years out, just a few more years out.
And so, I had an apartment in the city, a freelance career, and not too many people have come looking since I've disappeared. I guess that is why I'm looking for a new body.
Out of Body is a picturesque point-and-click adventure reminiscent of classics such as Day of the Tentacle, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Monkey Island, as well as modern entries like Gemini Rue and Kentucky Route Zero.
From the scope of the story, to the puzzle designs, characters, and dream-like sequences, OoB will build off what made the genre great back in the day and give a new generation an opportunity to experience a tale of their own.
Out of Body Act I is in progress for a release on PC/Mac/Switch, followed by a joint release of Acts II & III thereafter.
