🎃 NEW IN v0.15.0: HALLOWEEN AND THEN SOME
This started as the Halloween update and kept going. It's the biggest update since Early Access launched.
Two new jobs. The English Garden is a long back garden with a three-legged dog named Dogbro. The Ninth Floor is an office where a window broke and the whole floor filled up with leaves.
Spooky jobs. A new SPOOKY card on the Backyard and the Clearing takes you to Gnome Night or the Haunted Clearing, two Hardcore night jobs with their own leaderboards.
Bigger surroundings. The Backyard, the Churchyard and the Lot now sit in a real neighborhood, a foggy New England village and a city at night. The Hedge Maze got a makeover too.
Everything else. Rebuilt menus, rebindable controls, better controller support, real background sound on the levels, and a short How to Play guide for new play.

THE LEAVES ARE REAL. YOUR PATIENCE IS NOT.
Lawn Order is a first-person leaf blowing game. You get a blower, a yard full of leaves and a job to do.
I spent a ridiculous amount of time making the leaves move like real leaves, and it turns out that makes one of the most boring chores there is weirdly satisfying.
Clear the yard. Build a huge pile. Jump in it. Try not to launch a lawn chair through it.
🍂 THE LEAVES
Every leaf you blow is simulated on its own. They lift and race ahead of the air, tumble and flutter when they drop out of it, bank up against fences, fill corners and pile into heaps.
Sweep across the lawn and thousands of them go at once. Hold the blower on a pile and you can bore a hole straight through it. Hit it from the wrong side and you've just undone ten minutes of work.
🌬️ BLOW STUFF AROUND
Sticks, acorns, boxes, barrels, lawn chairs, laundry, office paper. If it's light enough, the blower moves it, usually somewhere worse.
Wind gusts can scatter a finished pile. Rain glues the leaves to the grass. Fire is its own problem: leaves burn, the wind carries the embers, and a campfire next to a leaf pile goes about how you'd expect.
🏡 THE JOBS
The Backyard. A suburban yard, an angry neighbor, and garden gnomes you really shouldn't break.
The Clearing. A bone-dry forest glade with a campfire that should not be anywhere near this many leaves.
The Churchyard. Fog, headstones and wet leaves that stick to everything. It's always raining here, and something about the place feels off.
The Lot. A parking lot on the night shift, two hundred stalls, and a drag racer who thinks the lanes are theirs.
The Hedge Maze. A topiary maze buried in leaves. Don't stay in one place too long.
The English Garden. A long back garden full of the neighbor's oak leaves. Go easy on the fence and the shed. They're both barely standing.
The Ninth Floor. Blow an entire office's worth of leaves back out the window they came in through.
Every job has three difficulties with their own pay and leaderboards, from Normal (hazards stay away) to Hardcore (hazards can end the job). Play solo or online co-op with up to four players.
🧰 TOOLS OF THE TRADE
The blower. You start with a small electric one. Earn enough and you can buy bigger blowers and nozzle tips for corners or wide sweeps.
The rake. For when you blew the pile into the wrong corner and need to drag it back.
The nut gatherer. Acorns are too heavy to blow. Roll this little cage over them and it picks them up.
The tarp. Blow the leaves onto it and bag them up.
🛣️ WHAT'S NEXT
Lawn Order is in Early Access because I want to keep finding dumber things to do with a very serious leaf simulation. Planned, not in the game yet:
More jobs, with new places, hazards and weather.
More gear, including a leaf vacuum and the mysterious AERO leaf conveyor.
Minigames with their own leaderboards, where shaving three seconds off your friend's time matters way more than it should.
More multiplayer modes, like Blower Curling and a climbing race.
Twitch integration, so viewers can dump leaves in a streamer's yard, mess with the wind and generally make things worse.
Plus whatever good ideas the community comes up with, and whatever bad ones I come up with.
🍁 WHY DOES THIS EXIST?
I wanted to make a game where blowing leaves around felt really, really good. So I spent an unreasonable amount of time making leaves behave like leaves.
Then I added weather. Then acorns. Then fire. Then an angry neighbor. Then ghosts.
Things got away from me.
The lawn is out of order. You know what to do.
