Description d’origine sur Steam
Sekigahara is a digital adaptation of the acclaimed two-player strategy game combining elegant rules, deep strategic choices, and a faithful historical setting.
Set during one of the most decisive conflicts in Japanese history, it recreates the 1600 campaign that culminated in the Battle of Sekigahara. Take command of either Tokugawa Ieyasu or Ishida Mitsunari, maneuver your forces across Japan, secure the loyalty of powerful daimyo, and fight for control of key locations in the struggle to determine the future of the country.
Faithfully adapted from the award-winning GMT Games board game designed by Matt Calkins, this digital edition brings the celebrated tabletop experience to life with all its original strategic depth and tense card management intact.
Features
No dice, no lucky rolls - There are no dice in Sekigahara, reducing the impact of random outcomes and rewarding careful planning. Manage your cards, commit the right forces, and outmaneuver your opponent to gain the advantage.
Clan Allegiances - Cards represent the loyalty of individual clans. To commit a block to combat, you must play a matching clan card, forcing you to carefully manage which forces you can rely on - and when.
Loyalty is everything - Spread your loyalty too thin, and your blocks can switch sides in the middle of a battle. Keep the right cards in hand to hold your army together - or risk watching your own forces turn against you.
Strategic card management - Movement is tied to the number of cards you spend, creating a constant tension between mobility and loyalty. Spend too many cards moving your armies and you may lack the loyalty needed to fight; conserve them for battle, and you may give your opponent the initiative. Every turn requires a careful balancing act.
Stack special attacks - Cavalry and firearms can turn the tide of battle. Combine special attack units to build powerful stacking bonuses and catch your opponent off guard.
Seize strategic territories - Castles and resource locations provide valuable advantages during the reinforcement phase, allowing you to gain additional blocks or cards. Controlling key territory can give your army the resources it needs.
Historical authenticity - Historical events and commanders are reflected directly in the gameplay. Unique forces such as the legendary Ii Naomasa's "Red Devils" and Sanada Masayuki bring their historical character to the battlefield, while special rules for the Mori clan reflect the delicate political situation of the campaign.
