About the game

Learn to drum in a haunted rhythm game built for keyboard and controller. Master real rhythms, read drum notation, practice fills, chase high scores, and uncover the strange machine hiding in your grandfather’s attic.

Original Steam description

Do The Drums Call You?

Apparently when they’re haunted they do.

Ghostnote is a rhythm game that turns your keyboard or controller into a drum kit. Learn real drumming fundamentals through interactive lessons, then put your skills into practice through songs, free play, and high score challenges.

While cleaning out the attic, you discover a haunted machine that plays the drums, but you have to push the right buttons to make it work. Play the notes, take the stage, and set them free…

With more than 25 years of drumming experience behind the team, we set out to make Ghostnote more than a fun drumming game. We wanted anyone to be able to pick up a keyboard or controller and experience what it’s like to be a drummer.

Our lead drummer was in an accident that nearly left him unable to drum permanently. That experience ultimately inspired Ghostnote: a drumming game for anyone who might not be able to simply sit down at a kit and play.

So what are you waiting for? ROCK OUT.
