Original Steam description

MASTER THE PERFECT LANDING

Critical Descent is about mastery and precision. Pilot the world's most powerful rocket through the final moments of flight to stick the landing.

FLY, FAIL, LEARN

Master 75 handcrafted levels, each demanding precise maneuvers through their different scenarios, such as windy storms or a pitch black night.

There are two difficulty modes, each with their own challenges.

Arcade mode for those who want a more approachable experience, complete with automatic chopsticks and smart throttling.

Simulation mode is for those who want more of a challenge, with fully manual controls and tighter landing constraints.

Pilot both the massive Super Heavy booster and the more agile upper stage. Attempt landings across Earth, the Moon and Mars.

DESIGNED FOR ALL DEVICES

Play on your Steam Deck or your PC, with full controller and keyboard support, as well as adaptive UI and text scaling, compatible with all aspect ratios. Critical Descent is optimized for all devices, from the handheld Steam Deck to ultrawide monitors.

COMPETE FOR THE BEST TIME

Compete against yourself or on a global leaderboard for the best time. Race your own best attempt as a ghost to defeat it and get a new record. Download and race the world record in real-time to see if you can compete.
