About the game
Solar Sandbox is a space engine that allow for player to simulate n-body physics in space. Simulate large n-body physics or how would the Earth be effected by you changing it's orbit or how how many Jupiters you need to combine to get a star.
Original Steam description
Solar Sandbox is a space sandbox where gravity is real, and nothing is off limits. Start in our Solar System or in any of more than 10,000 real star systems, then change whatever you like: throw moons at planets, drop a black hole next to the Sun, set a world on fire or flood it with oceans, and watch the physics play out.
Crash worlds together
Every object pulls on every other one. When worlds collide they shatter into thousands of fragments, their surfaces heat up and melt, and the debris rains back down or drifts off into orbit.
Unleash disasters
Drop in a black hole, add a second sun, blow a planet apart or spin it until it tears itself to pieces. The Tools menu gives you Explode, Spin, Laser, Material, Pulse, Fireworks and more.
Reshape any world
Planetscaping lets you paint straight onto a planet: raise mountains, dig basins, pour in oceans, freeze them solid, add or strip away the atmosphere, or heat the crust until it glows.
Land anywhere

Zoom from orbit down to the surface of the Moon, Mars and other rocky worlds. Walk around, watch day turn into night, follow planets across the sky with the telescope, and see impacts come down from the ground.
The real universe
The Solar System comes with real masses, orbits, rings and moons. The catalog adds more than 12,000 stars, planets and exoplanets within 100 light-years of Earth, plus famous galaxies, nebulae and black holes. Run time anywhere from real speed to hundreds of years per second.
3D and 2D
Play in full 3D, or switch to 2D, where galaxies are made of tens of thousands of stars. Send two of them on a collision course and watch their spiral arms stretch into tidal tails.
Play together
Host a sandbox and invite your friends, or share your creations on the Steam Workshop.
