About the game
A strategy board game for 2–8 players. Answer trivia to claim empty tiles, then beat your opponents in minigame duels to take theirs. Play cards to challenge them to typing races, word puzzles, reaction tests, and more.
Original Steam description
Tavernia is a multiplayer party game of trivia, duels and conquest for 2 to 8 players. Pull up a chair, claim tiles on a hand-painted map, and defend your kingdom by beating your friends at whatever the cards throw at you: trivia, word races, drawing, rhythm, reflexes and more. The last castle standing, or the richest ruler when the rounds run out, wins the tavern.
On your turn, pick a tile on the board. Free land is won with a trivia question; land that belongs to a rival means a duel. Every tile you hold earns points, borders matter, and losing your castle knocks you out of the game.

Attacking a rival plays a minigame card from your hand. Build a deck of your five favourites, ban the one you hate, and drag your opponent onto your home turf.
