WHO THE HELL OPENED THE PORTAL?! is a funny pixel art strategy roguelite where you play as the prince of a good guys fantasy kingdom. Your lands are scattered across islands connected by magical portals.
Yes, traveling through portals is convenient during the day. But at night, those same portals turn into gateways from Hell — and all sorts of bad guys crawl out!
What to expect:
🏰 Day — building, management, expansion
• Develop mines and gather resources to upgrade your kingdom.
• Level up your castle and support buildings to unlock new bonuses.
• Recruit heroes at the tavern — each with unique skills and quirks.
• Send expeditions through portals to explore new islands.
• Capture more territory: more mines → more income → more everything.
• Complete quests for rewards, boosts, and a bit of glory.
A perfectly normal workday for any prince.
👹 Night — defend yourself!
When the sun sets, portals transform into Hell Gates.
Demons, imps, and all kinds of nasties pour out of them. Your job is to:

• Strengthen your castle.
• Survive until dawn… preferably alive.
