Some earn their place in the underworld. Others just run out of luck. As for you, let's not get bogged down in the details. What matters is that you need to escape. Fight off the monsters down here for as long as you can, because there must be a way out. There has to be, right? Right?

And if you die, so what? What more can they do to punish you? Collect gold from enemies and throughout the underworld, then spend it on permanent upgrades.

Characters carry different mixes of offensive, defensive and utility slots. Fill them before every run, experiment with different builds and dive back into the fight.

With enough persistence and power, you may be able to withstand the chaos and eventually become a force of chaos yourself.

Then something older and bigger takes notice.
