Frozen Extinction

Coming soon

Golden Yolk GamesDiscovered Sep 21, 2026

About the game

A cinematic RTS where a forgotten failure awakens Earth's original apex predators. Build, fortify, and lead humanity's counteroffensive to reclaim the planet before extinction claims us all.

Original Steam description

Kept secret for generations.
Buried beneath ice. Classified beyond clearance.

When a long-forgotten containment program fails at a remote polar research site, the impossible resurfaces. Extinction was never permanent. Earth’s original apex predators have returned and they are multiplying.

What begins as a recovery mission escalates into a global crisis.

Lead humanity’s counteroffensive in a cinematic real-time strategy campaign where survival depends on preparation, positioning, and overwhelming force. Establish forward operating bases in hostile environments. Secure vital supply lines. Construct layered defensive networks to withstand relentless assaults. Adapt your tactics as the threat evolves and spreads beyond containment.

These are not isolated creatures. They are organized, territorial, and reclaiming a world they once ruled.

Command infantry, armored divisions, air support, and experimental weapons systems in large-scale battles against swarming packs, towering predators, and catastrophic incursions that can overwhelm unprepared commanders. Every victory reveals a larger truth and a greater threat waiting beyond the horizon.

Humanity inherited the Earth by surviving the last extinction.

Now the past has come to take it back.

Will you hold the line or watch history repeat itself?
