You are the Castellan, the one in charge of Aurelwatch. It is a ruined settlement around an old watchtower, and you have a small party of heroes to help you rebuild it.
Fight with Strategy
Lead your heroes through turn-based battles on a tactical grid. Every move, attack, and ability costs action points, so choose your actions carefully.
Position your heroes, make good use of their abilities, and learn how your enemies fight. A well-planned move can turn the tide of battle.
Rebuild Aurelwatch
Return to Aurelwatch between adventures and slowly bring the settlement back to life.
Restore and upgrade buildings, craft equipment, help wounded companions recover, and spend time with your heroes.
Explore the campaign map, choose where to go next, and discover new opportunities to expand your settlement. What you find on your adventures can help Aurelwatch grow.
Meet Your Companions
Begin your journey with a small group of heroes and meet new companions along the way.
Aurelian, a brave and charming knight, guides you through the early days of your adventure. Yvra, a young wolf mage on the run from the Inquisition, has troubles of her own.
Get to know your companions and make choices that shape your journey. Your decisions matter, and the story remembers them.
Early Access
Castellan of Aurelwatch is planned to enter Early Access in Q4 2026.
The campaign and its gameplay systems will continue to grow during Early Access, with more content and adventures to come.
