A solo-player outer-space underworld survival game set in a post-apocalyptic future. Explore the Solar System and brave massive procedurally generated dungeons. Dig, build, drill, collect, craft, fight, light, shoot, run, and fly through fully mutable, persistent sandboxes — or die trying.
EXPLORE THE SOLAR SYSTEM — ABOVE AND BELOW
Explore a fully connected Solar System and the High-Altitude-Colonies (HACs) above the planets. Learn about the Grand Migration and visit the cultural shrines for bonuses. Learn about the OXIS AI and the extinction event. Discover and descend into massive procedurally generated underworld dungeons to depths unknown.
FULLY MUTABLE PERSISTENT WORLDS AND GLOBAL INVENTORY
Every world, every dungeon, every location, every item exists inside a fully persistent sandbox. What you dig, build, destroy, or drop, remains as you left it for all time. Your world is your inventory.
SURVIVE IN A HOSTILE, MUTABLE WORLD
Farcraft is survival without safety rails. Resources are finite, environments are dangerous, and mistakes compound. You must dig, drill, craft, fight, light your way, and adapt to survive. The deeper you go, the greater the risk — and the greater the reward.
DIE — AND LIVE AGAIN
Your soul is immortal; your avatar bodies are not. Use advanced OXIS technology to reclaim a fallen body from its remains and recover your lost gear. Incarnate quickly. Delay too long, and death becomes permanent.
