About the game
math is hard is a sokoban-style puzzle game where the numbers are blocks you push around until the math works out. Line them up into equations, hit the target value, and master special blocks that change the rules.

Build the equation
Every level has a target. When you push together your equation, it's solved on the spot. Match the result with the target value and you win.
Blocks can do more
Some blocks bring their own rules to the board, like printing your equation results onto the board. Some blocks change their value when they move, some change when you move. Learn what they can do and how you can use them to help you beat the level.
Many mechanics
Each area contains a unique mechanic. Ice that you slide on, spots that need filling, conveyor belts that move blocks around and many more to explore.
Explore the world
Push your way through over 100 puzzle levels spread across themed areas. Each area brings in a new rule, teaches it gently, and then finds ways to twist it.
