About the Game

I was transported to a parallel world inspired by Journey to the West, only to be reincarnated as a yaoguai for the sins of my past life. A chance encounter grants me the Reincarnation Casket and the power to begin life anew without end. In this treacherous world, rival factions are on the move and long-buried truths are about to surface. In my next life, will I return as a pig, a monkey, a lamp... or even a tree? Buddhahood demands eighty-one trials—but the path of a yaoguai is no less perilous.

Choose from 72 yaoguai, each with distinct attribute affinities. Through the reincarnation legacy system, what you leave behind in one life can pass on to the next, carrying your journey forward even after you fall.

Experiment with more than 50 build archetypes and over 1,000 cards. Every character comes with unique attributes and card combinations. Grow through battle, Chance Encounters, and Cultivation as you improve your level, attributes, and cards. Combat also incorporates distinctive mechanics such as Weapons, Clones, and Transformations.

Explore a procedurally generated open world spanning 20,000 tiles, brought to life through more than 1.5 million Chinese characters of narrative. Each lifetime brings thousands of random events and new opportunities for growth, while your choices lead to more than a hundred possible endings.

Conquer a wealth of boss encounters and seize strongholds to establish your own Camp. Expand it, recuperate, recruit Yaoguai Troops, earn their loyalty, and build a lasting domain of your own.

The many materials gathered along your journey can be traded to merchants for Spirit Stones—or fused into Mystic Treasures powerful enough to turn the tide of fate.

Forge bonds with immortals, yaoguai, and mortals alike. Become sworn siblings, marry, rob, or attack them—the tangled web of virtue and vice turns on every choice you make.
