About the game

Bâtissez une civilisation carte après carte. Bannerlands est un jeu de construction de decks roguelike où la guerre, la culture et l'économie façonnent le destin de votre empire. Neuf dirigeants uniques. Des centaines de cartes. Un empire à bâtir.

Description d’origine sur Steam

Build a civilization, one card at a time.

Bannerlands is a roguelike deckbuilder that lets you build an empire from the cards you draft. Choose from nine unique rulers, each with their own card pool and strategic identity, then build your civilization card by card across procedurally generated runs. Every decision shapes the empire you build.

EVERY RUN IS A NEW EMPIRE

Runs begin with a simple handful of cards and end with your own empire - but only if you play things right. Your journey will be different each time, with procedurally generated campaigns, hundreds of cards across nine distinct rulers and a strategic landscape that shifts with every draft decision.

What works in one run might not work for the next, and what failed before might be exactly what you need this time.

EVERY CARD IS A DECISION

Your empire is shaped by the cards you choose.

  • War - Crush your opponents with military cards that build your attack and defensive power.

  • Culture - Build a cultural system enemies can’t match with cards that develop your empire’s identity and unlock powerful late-game advantages.

  • Economy - Outmaneuver your opponents by focusing on cards that fuel your resource engine and compound your options over time.

The choices are all yours, but so are the consequences. Find the balance that works for you without leaving your empire vulnerable.
NINE RULERS, NINE STRATEGIES

With nine distinctly different ways to play, a leader built to conquer through force plays a different game entirely from one built to win through wealth or culture.

Master one leader and eight more are waiting. Each one is a new challenge, a new strategic identity and a new reason to start another run.

DRAFT, COMBINE, DEVASTATE

Every run surfaces new card combinations - powerful synergies between a ruler’s abilities, military strength, cultural investments, and economic engine.

Some strategies snowball early, others come alive in the late game when the cards you've been patiently developing suddenly hit at full force. Finding what clicks and adapting when it doesn't is what determines whether you win or lose.

BUILD YOUR EMPIRE, COMPETE FOR POWER

Take on challenging opponents in solo campaigns, or bring your strategies to head-to-head multiplayer battles - online or offline - with simultaneous or asynchronous multiplayer matches.
