Hey guys, thank you for visiting our page. We really appreciate it, and we wanted to take a moment to explain our vision, both for those of you who have been following our development from the beginning and those who are just discovering us.

From Misfortune Comes is our dream game.

Our team came together around one purpose: to build the game we’ve always wanted to play.

We’re pooling all of our development and creative experience into making a beautiful, warm RPG built around meaningful progression. A game where the protagonist isn’t the hero of the story, but a nobody. Where the mundane parts of life matter just as much as the extraordinary ones. Where small choices, relationships, work, failure, growth, and ambition all contribute to who you eventually become.

Our hope is that by the end of the game, you can look back at where the protagonist started and barely recognize the person he has become.

What we’re building may seem ambitious, and it is. But we believe in our ability to make it because this isn’t just another project for us, we genuinely care about this world we’re trying to create.
