The protagonist is a young girl nicknamed "Daughter of Sorrow" by netizens. She gains inspiration by fighting monsters that embody pain in her nightmares; after waking up, she turns the painful stories submitted by netizens into paintings. These paintings gradually gain traction online, and the girl herself searches for her lost memories through repeated cycles.
