Leonard has left the asylum, but his past has followed him home. His wife, Tatjana, is missing. After stopping his medication, unsettling experiences begin to disturb his search—and his understanding of what is real.

Calvar – The Darkest Gate is a first-person psychological horror game focused on exploration, environmental puzzles, and disturbing encounters. Follow Tatjana’s traces and uncover the connection between Leonard’s past, the asylum, and the mystery of Calvar.

Follow secluded forest paths and investigate abandoned places as Leonard’s search draws him further from home. Discover documents, personal belongings, and hidden clues that reveal fragments of the story. Look carefully: the obvious path may not hold every answer.

CURRENT EARLY ACCESS CONTENT

The current version includes:

• Prologue — Where She Waits
• Chapter I — Between the Dead
• Chapter II — The Three Sisters

Experience the opening sections of Leonard’s journey, from the first clues surrounding Tatjana’s disappearance to the horrors within the asylum. The story is not yet complete: further chapters and improvements are planned throughout Early Access.

EARLY ACCESS ROADMAP

• Ongoing improvements: Bug fixes, performance updates, and refinements to interactions, puzzles, visuals, and sound, informed by player feedback.

• New story content: Additional chapters with new locations, puzzles, and encounters. We aim to release major content updates roughly every three months.

• Dialogue and controls: Reworked dialogue, recorded human voice performances to replace the current AI-generated voices, and planned controller support.

• Full release: Completing the story, followed by balancing, optimization, and polish. Our current target is late 2027.
