DEADEYE

About the game
Sail, fight, plunder, build! Start with a cutlass and a leaky raft, then crew a real ship, sink the navy, hunt sea monsters and claim an island of your own. The sea is shared, and nothing on it is safe.
Original Steam description
DEADEYE is a top-down pixel pirate sandbox. You wake on the docks of Port Royale with a cutlass, an axe, a fishing rod and a few coins. What happens next is up to you: honest trader, bounty hunter, island lord, or the most wanted name on the server.
Real ships, real decks
30 hulls, from a log raft to ships of the line. Walk the hold, the gun deck and the quarterdeck while your crew works the guns.
Wind, sails and momentum are simulated on the server. Cannonballs punch holes, holes let in the sea, and a flooded ship goes down.
Load chain, grape, explosive, fire or cursed shot. Throw a grapple, cut down the crew and take the wheel.
Cutlasses, spears, tridents, pistols, muskets, blunderbusses, hand cannons and harpoon guns across 16 material tiers.
Parry, dodge-roll, backstab and land three-hit finishers.
Hunt legendary beasts, summon island bosses, and face the Kraken and the Leviathan far out at sea.
Build, claim and survive
Plant a claim flag on a wild island, raise walls of wood, stone or metal, and grow your outpost into a stronghold.
Farm, fish, dive for pearl beds, explore caves, and bury your treasure where only you can find it.
More than 1,000 items and 770 recipes to find, buy, loot and craft.
Trade and rule the seas
15 ports, each with its own shops and prices that drift with supply and demand.
Six factions with long memories: the Navy, the Merchants' Guild, the Island Tribes, the Brotherhood, the Armada and the Smugglers' Ring.
Found a guild, lay siege to a port, and take a cut of every sale in its shops.
The Compass skill tree: 377 steps across eight branches. Not enough points to learn them all.
Play your way
Play solo in your own world, host friends through Steam or LAN, run a dedicated community server, or join the official seas.
