Unearther is a 2D sandbox adventure where you can explore, build, craft, fight, and uncover the mysteries hidden throughout the world.
Journey into unknown places in search of resources and valuables. Gather materials, make your tools and equipment, fight dangerous creatures. Follow the mysteries of the world or simply settle down and build yourself a home. The choice is yours.
A World of Procedural and Handcrafted Adventures
Unearther combines procedural generation with handcrafted map areas to create its world.
The world is generated to give every adventure its own landscape, while handcrafted areas are placed within it to create locations and challenges that are meant to be discovered.
Explore through forests, caves, and other environments, then stumble upon places with their own layouts, enemies, secrets, and challenges.
Features
Sandbox — Build and break freely, mine for resources, find hidden treasures, fight enemies, and shape the world around you.
Exploration — Travel through different environments and discover hidden places, treasures, enemies, and dangers.
Crafting — Gather resources and craft tools, weapons, armor, decorations, and other useful items.
Survival Elements — Hunger, tool durability, and other survival mechanics add extra challenges. These systems can be toggled to suit your preferred playstyle.
Multiplayer — Explore, build, and adventure together with up to 5 players.
