Welcome to Icebreaker, operator! And congratulations on getting the job!
Icebreaker is a co-op action roguelike for one to three players, handcrafted by a solo developer. You oversee a PROWLER unit: modified, expendable, and deployed into very hostile facilities, so that different groups of very important people can benefit from observing their actions and collecting operational data.
A PROWLER unit's health drains constantly. Killing enemies refills it, so keep moving.
Energy shields block ANY incoming damage, if timed right.
Every PROWLER unit can carry a weapon in each hand: energy blades, heat axes, power fists, mini railguns, and plenty more.
A PROWLER unit's visor switches between standard, thermal, and scan lenses, and some things only show up in one of them.
A downed PROWLER unit can launch a drone and keep going, as long as another friendly PROWLER unit is nearby.
We're expanding, and you can invite up to two friends to carry out combat assignments together.
