Can't See Shift

The driver can't see. The one next to them has the pedals. The backseat… we'll see.

Your cousin is getting married and someone has to deliver the cake. Somehow that ended up as four little round guys in a beat-up van, crossing half of Spain.

ONE VAN, FOUR SETS OF CONTROLS, ZERO CONTROL

The driver has the wheel, the horn and the lights, and can barely see. The co-pilot has the gas, the brake and the pace notes. Yelling "BRAKE!" is easy. Trusting the one with the pedal is another thing.

RIDING IN THE BACK IS A JOB

Fallen tree, mud pit, bridge with no planks, a flock that won't move. Time to get out: axe, shovel, nail gun, winch and dynamite. Then climb back in before they drive off without you.

THE ROAD BITES BACK

A vulture that snatches whoever's on the roof rack. Goats on the ledge. A creaking bridge. A flash flood. The cops with a breathalyzer. Seed-generated routes: every trip is a different road through pine forests, moors, pastures, vineyards and snowy mountain passes.

THE CAKE IS YOUR SCORE

You're small, round and easy to launch into the air. The cake even more so. Every bump takes a piece. Getting there is one thing; getting there with something you can serve is another. The wedding will notice.

THE ROADSIDE SHOP

Between stages, a shared pot of cash and a counter: sheet metal for the van, dynamite, a dozen eggs, a parrot that repeats what you just said, a scratch card. Whatever you don't pay for, the shopkeeper collects by chasing you down.

IN THE END, SOMEONE'S TO BLAME

The game keeps score: who rolled the van, who dropped the cake, who got the cops called. At the finish, awards with names on them. The arguments are on you.

AT LEAST DRESS NICE

Hats, colors and stickers for your ball and your van. They won't improve your driving, but they'll help identify whoever caused the crash.

SOLO OR WITH FRIENDS

1-4 players in online co-op with proximity voice chat: inside the van you hear whoever's close, and over the walkie-talkie whoever got left behind. Solo, you take the wheel and the pedals, and Free Roam lets you drive the road at your own pace.
