Instar Ecdysis: Protocol Limos

About the game
Protocol Limos is a tense psychological survival-horror game in which your cat is your only anomaly detector. As a homeless woman searching for food in a militarized school, you must rely on stealth, resource management, and absolute silence. But be careful, something in the darkness is watching you.
Original Steam description
People looked right through you long before everything fell apart. Surviving on the streets was always a quiet, bitter effort, but raw hunger eventually forces your hand. You break curfew to slip inside a heavily guarded school converted into a military post. You have zero tactical training, and you get no second chances. You are terrified and clumsy, meaning a single knocked over chair or heavy footstep can end your run instantly.
Crawling through dark hallways and empty classrooms makes one thing clear very fast: the armed guards are not your main problem. Something else hides in the shadows, quietly watching. It does not simply want to tear you apart. It is listening to your rough breathing, memorizing your uneven steps, and copying your habits. Dying in the dark is bad enough, but the real nightmare is having something take your face, step out into the daylight, and claim the tiny spot you used to occupy.
Vulnerable Survival
Experience survival as a regular person rather than an action hero. Every movement feels heavy, physical effort wears you down quickly, and getting caught in the open means immediate death.
Tense Auditory Stealth
Silence keeps you alive. Pry open a rusted locker, search an old backpack, or step on broken glass, and the sound echoes through the building. Managing noise becomes a constant nerve wracking struggle.
Scavenging and Inventory
Search empty desks, trash bins, and abandoned lockers for food or utility items. Your storage space is tiny, so you constantly have to make tough choices about what to carry and what to drop.
The Horror of Replacement
Face a creature that actively studies you. It tracks how you move and hide, waiting for the right moment to eliminate you and step seamlessly into your place.
Environmental Storytelling
Discover clues scattered throughout the building to piece together how a normal school turned into a fortress, and how that fortress became a hunting ground.
Your cat is your primary survival tool. Animals pick up on things humans miss, and watching your companion's reactions is often the only advance warning you get before stepping into unnatural danger.
