Originalbeschreibung auf Steam
Behind the first door is a hallway. Behind that one, another. And another.
A DIFFERENT MANSION EVERY RUN
Parlours, libraries, nurseries, music rooms, flooded cellars, foggy mazes, collapsing corridors, and stairwells that climb six storeys into the dark.
Built from hundreds of room layouts, the mansion rearranges itself every time you play. Find your way through its puzzles, learn its dangers, and keep opening doors.
No two runs are the same.
EVERY CREATURE IS ITS OWN GAME
The Hallways is home to more than forty different horrors. Each has its own rules—and you will usually learn them the hard way.
A little girl in a white pinafore wants to play hide-and-seek. She counts to fifteen. Then her head leaves her shoulders and searches the room for you.
A teacher writes on the blackboard of a vast lecture hall. Be in your seat when she turns around. Don't speak.
In a red-lit maze, something with a grin made of light hauls itself along the walls behind you. Find the exit. Don't stop running.
A pianist plays musical chairs with you and six marionettes. When the music stops, run. Whoever is left standing is eaten.
A thing in a lamplit corridor eats the lights one by one. When the last one goes, it eats whoever is still in the dark.
A tall, grinning figure searches a foggy maze. Get three generators running before it sees you—and if it does, find a wardrobe.
Walk a tightrope over the fog. Cross a bridge as a voice calls UP and DOWN, faster and faster. Outrun the floor as the hallway collapses behind you.
And watch for things in the ceiling, things in the walls, things that only move when you aren't looking—and things that look exactly like a door.
PLAY TOGETHER—OR DON'T COME BACK
Bring your friends. You may need someone to find the key, restart a generator, or tell you what is standing behind you.
Online co-op for 1–4 players. Play solo or invite your friends through Steam, straight from the lobby.
Proximity voice chat. Hear your friends nearby and whisper in the dark. Be careful: some creatures are listening too.
Optional webcam faces. Put your real face on your character so your friends can see your reaction when the lights go out—or wear one of ten masks.
Face the mansion together. Everyone sees the same rooms, the same creatures, and the same moment the music stops.
Keep watching after death. Spectate from a friend's shoulder or through their eyes, and hope they make it further than you did.
TWO WAYS TO PLAY
STORY MODE — 100 rooms. One life each.
Face every creature and reach a hand-built ending, with a library at the end of it you will not forget.
RUN TO DIE — The hallways never end.
Go as deep as you can as the creatures get faster and the rooms get darker. Compete on the global leaderboard for the deepest run.
PUZZLES, SECRETS, AND A LITTLE GREED
Find keys hidden in desks and bookshelves. Crack codes written in children's exercise books. Pull the right book from a library six storeys tall. Restart the generators, or search drawers for gold to spend at the strange little shop deep inside the house.
Some doors are locked. Some doors are lying.
AN OLD HORROR COMIC BROUGHT TO LIFE
Hand-drawn shadows, grainy ink, and a crushed retro palette give The Hallways the look of an old horror comic you shouldn't have opened.
Every scream, every catch, every near miss: highlights from your run are recorded automatically, ready to watch back, laugh at, and share.
